Dialogue in the Dark is an immersive experience for everyone curious to see the world differently.
It is also a place of real inclusion. At its centre are blind and visually impaired guides whose lived experience becomes professional expertise. They create encounters that challenge assumptions, open conversations and make inclusion tangible.
With the new Berlin location, a permanent Dialogue in the Dark exhibition is coming to the German capital for the first time.
The unseen side of Berlin.
Berlin is a city you think you know before you arrive. The sound of the U-Bahn. The smell of rain on old stone. The energy of a city that keeps moving, remembering, changing.
But what happens when you
discover Berlin without seeing it?
In autumn, Dialogue in the Dark will open as a new permanent exhibition in the heart of Berlin. In complete darkness, visitors move through immersive environments inspired by the city, guided by blind and visually impaired experts.
What exactly awaits you
will remain unseen for now.
Only this much: Berlin leaves traces that can be discovered in a new way in the dark.
Dialogue in the Dark is more than an exhibition.
It is an experience about perception, trust, empathy and human encounter, for individuals, families, school groups, companies and institutions.
All experiences will be available in German,
English and further languages.
